I played a ranger in my first campaign. I'd like to try it again since I now know a little more of what I'm doing. I haven't attempted to wade through the magic user rules. Well, actually we played a level 1 dungeon crawl one spring break night where I was a sorcerer. All I can say is that a wand of magic missle made my night!
Right now I'm playing a fighter with a lot of mounted combat feats (aka tank). Next time I level, I'm taking an intelligent mount (unicorn). Yep, it's cheesy but they have some awesome abilities. I'm not entirely sure how interested you are in D&D, but I don't get to talk about it often outside a small circle of equally geeky people, so I'm abusing the opportunity now.
That was an interesting quiz. The only part that got me was that my diety was identified as an archer when I answered several questions as a sword enthusiast. lol, I love being a geek !)
Do you play? I enjoy it, though I had not heard of it until I got to college. If you like table-top strategy games, D&D minis are fun, too. Hope things are shaping up for you. Your classes sound pretty crazy right now. Are you still practicing your martial art? Aikido used to help me a lot when I'd focus.

I've never actually delved into the world, so I'm quite disoriented in the Dungeons. It was always kind of interesting, though, or at least seemed to be. Abuse is hardly the term I'd give to this elaboration. I enjoy reading and hearing interests of other folk. Well-made quizzes will rarely transmute direct answers into expected results, methinks.

Right now, classes are kind of the last thing in mind, other than doing what's necessary for them. Other rough spots have taken precedence. Kind of scary stuff. As a sort of detail for part of all that, a small example of my worries come from having to keep track of a check book. I've never had to do that before.

But indeed, papers are piling up, four of them requiring extensive research, all due in two weeks or less (definitely "less" now). I'm trying not to think about it and take it slowly.

Shotokan's kind of a footnote now. The instructor doesn't go into meticulous detail, so as long as we seem to be making the motions, we don't stall. I probably need to, though. I keep throwing the wrong blocks.

Sorry this is so long. I'll not waste any more of your time. Wish you well in all of your pursuits, leveling up-inclusive. :)
