(no subject)
Wow.. so I hardly check this and hardly update anymore!! I need to start doing that.
Last night John and I went to his cousin Kristi's wedding reception. Wow! So much fun. We sat with his sisters and their husbands and kids, and his mom. That was entertaining in itself. Then I hear that there's a live band... Pheonix. And I'm thinking to myself "Who's in that... I know who's in that!!" Turns out.. Cliff!! And Mr Watral (*shudder*) So I had a great chat with Cliff and they were AWESOME!!! And then .. John and I were up dancing (well John was kind of standing there looking bored :P) When all of a sudden Cliff comes running up to us and starts dancing and going "I LOVE this song!!!" (They had Ace music playing in between sets) It was actually a cute song.. that Redneck Girl song. So we're dancing and I think okay this is fun.. all of a sudden Cliff grabs me and starts spinning me around like ballroom swing style... I was trying so hard not to slip or trip.. but it was SOOOO much fun!!! I haven't danced like that in a long time!!
They didn't play any polkas though which was kind of disappointing :( John's sister's husband Gary was going to polka with me because John and his sister don't know how (I've got to teach John how to dance.. that's it!) Then we went to Boston Pizza after (it was almost one and I was still hyper) and I had a beer and had a lovely chat with John. Then it was off to sleep.. sooo tired.
And now I get to work tonite.. need to make some money for our trip to Duluth. John gets 3 nights without me so he can sleep! I need to buy some hoodies and tees (Well I don't NEEED to.. but I want to :P) Anywhosen.. I'm gonna go now.. enough typing.. Later Days!
