Hello, world outside my apartment. Another unproductive week has come and gone. I think I procrastinate because I hope that it will change something, but the funny thing is that it never does. Or maybe I'm just lazy.
What have I done this past week? I've watched the Dune miniseries; I've delved into Magic Online and built two decks after six years of M:tG sobriety; I've finally given in and bought a Playstation (and when the PS2 also comes down to $15 maybe I'll buy one of those as well); I've put off responding to my advisor's email; I've bought a suit for the wedding on Saturday; I've been spending too much money in general; I've done some crossword puzzles; I've abstained from beer; I've ordered Chinese food (when was the last time I actually cooked something?); I've done my part to sustain the ecosystem by turning Chinese food to poop; I've gone to bed in the morning and gotten up in the afternoon; I've gotten slightly involved in an open source 18xx gaming project called Rails; and yesterday I even took the trash out.
In 3 1/2 hours I'm flying to Chicago, and when I get back Monday morning, nothing at all will have changed.
