I've got to say, I'm pretty surprised by the reaction I've gotten for my simple assertion that flaws in computer architecture have led to innocent lives being destroyed. *totally off topic*

Do you always put "sense" instead of cents?

I ask, since I do my checks oddly also... if it's an even amount I'll write out "Fifteen even." I also start my "fifteen" right at/before the line so there's no room for anything before it, and make a big slashy/swirly after the even... both these I was taught to do in school, as the "correct" way to write a check.

Sometimes I use "scents" . . . especially when paying the water/sewer bill.
