Round 6: Uni Days 26-28
Wow, it has been an extremely long time since I last played this hood or posted anything! I am truly sorry for that. I forgot just how much fun I have playing this little town of Bakersfield. So here I am, back with a much needed update! This time around, we're visiting all the kids at University for simdays 26-28 of Round 6.
Here we have Bree Wilcox, oldest child of Larke Wilcox. Just for a refresher, Bree is a senior this year and is a Knowledge/Grilled Cheese sim. She wants to join the Gamer career and is majoring in Mathematics. She's been dating Carter Benson since they were teens. The other girls in the sorority are pretty sick of eating grilled cheese, but Bree is such a sweet person that they love her anyway. Oh, and Bree gained a point for the challenge last time by completing her IW of maxing all skills.
And here she is with her highschool sweetheart, Carter Benson. Carter is a Family/Popularity sim who dreams of growing old with his wife and celebrating their golden anniversary (hopefully with Bree!). He is majoring in Biology, although he really doesn't know what he wants to do for a profession yet.
This is Bree's younger sister, Sasha Wilcox. She is in her Sophomore year at the moment. Sasha is a Knowledge/Romance sim. She wants to make it big in the Entertainment industry and is majoring in Literature. Sasha used to date Dixon Jackson when they were teens, but Dixon dumped her in Round 5 for his three-bolter Della Harvey. So Sasha is still currently single and spends most of her time studying.
Next up, we have Luke Jackson. He's the son of Tracey Jackson-Moran and brother of Dixon and April. Luke is a Pleasure/Popularity sim. He wants to join the athletic career one day. Luke is a senior majoring in Biology. He's been dating Darcy Nolan since they were teens, and in the last Uni update they found out they were pregnant thanks to risky woohoo.
And here is Darcy, heavily pregnant as you can see. She's getting close to her due date, and unfortunately her studies are suffering because of it. Darcy is a Popularity sim who wants to open up a bunch of successful businesses. She's a senior, majoring in Philosophy.
This is Luke's twin brother Dixon, and his girlfriend Della Harvey. Dixon used to date Sasha Wilcox, but in their later teen years he met Della Harvey at school and fell for her hard. They are now together and got engaged in the last Uni update. Dixon is a Family/Fortune sim and wants to become an Entertainer. He's a senior majoring in Drama. Della is a Knowledge sim and wants to max all her skills. She's a senior also and majoring in Economics. She plans on entering the Education career after Uni.
And lastly here's April Jackson and her girlfriend Darlene Dawson. They've also been dating since they were teens. April is a Pleasure/Fortune sim and just wants to make a whole lot of money. She's a senior majoring in Drama. She is going to be joining the Dance career after Uni. Darlene is also majoring in Drama, but she wants to join the Athletic career one day. She's a Romance sim, but seems to have eyes only for April so far!
So, life at Uni with these kids really hasn't been too crazy. They all have their different habits and preferences. Carter and Bree tend to do "nerdy" things together. They play chess, play video games, and read books together. They are seldom seen without each other.
Darcy spends a lot of time neglecting her studies. This pregnancy has been really rough on her mood and health, and she's constantly having to pee or eat. So she spends most of her time playing games, when she's not doing the other two things. Her grades have fallen big time because of it.
And then it all caught up with her and sadly, she lost the baby. It was just too stressful and living in a busy sorority house didn't help things. She was devastated when she got the news. After that, her grades really dropped and she was placed on academic probation, which meant that she wouldn't be graduating with the other seniors. She'd have to stay for one more semester.
Luke was upset too when Sasha told him about the baby. And he could tell how hurt she was by the miscarriage and about being put on academic probation. But he assured her that it was only 1 semester and he would be waiting for her back home.
You'd think finding out you're having a baby while still in Uni, and then losing that baby would make you double think woohoo'ing again....but Luke and Darcy prove that logic is not a strong suit of the young and in love.
Dixon and Della proved that point many a time as well, but at least there were no pregnancies from these two.
When he wasn't with Bree, Carter found time to improve his pool game. He loves entertainment and sports, so maybe he'll open up a gaming center with Bree, or a gym when he graduates?
Mascots are always annoying at Uni, and this interesting cow mascot proved no different. She got on Dixon's bad side when she kept smacking him around with a pillow.
Speaking of people on Dixon's bad side, his twin brother Luke should be included on that list. These two have been enemies since they were kids. I was hoping Uni would bring them closer together, but they still fight each other all the time. It's so hard to have them at any sort of event together because they constantly queue up to kick each other's butt. I can't wait for them to not be living together anymore!
Luke and Dixon weren't the only ones fighting this time around. April got to witness a rousing episode of Llama vs. Cow. Those mascots will be the death of me, I tell you!
And then the big day finally came! Seven of the eight seniors graduated on simday 26! They're all excited to get makeovers and move back to town to start their adult lives! Bree was the Valedictorian with a perfect GPA of 4.0, no surprise there.
Poor Darcy was so upset to see all her classmates graduating and leaving campus. She still has to stick it out for one more semester.
Sasha, on the other hand, was very happy to see one person in particular leaving. She has never been able to be friends with Della Harvey since Dixon dumped her. She hates seeing them together and is happy to be free of her!
With almost everyone graduated, Sasha and Darcy had a pretty quiet time for the rest of the round. Sasha spent most of her time studying, and Darcy just moped around for her last semester.
That last semester flew by for Darcy, and she finally pulled her grades up enough to graduate! She's headed back to Bakersfield to be with Luke again.
So Sasha was left all alone in the sorority house. She only had 1 more year to go, so it wasn't too bad for her. She even managed to get herself a genie lamp! She wished for beauty because she's had such a hard time with relationships, and for peace because she deserves it! She saved her last wish for when she graduates.
Looks like the beauty wish worked, at least one Jimmy Phoenix thinks so. Sasha met him on campus and they quickly hit it off. Can't wait to see where this budding romance goes!
And finally, it was time for Sasha to graduate! She earned a 3.5 GPA and can't wait to get back to town. Maybe Jimmy will join her?

I definitely hear lots of wedding bells in the future for this round. These graduates basically just doubled the number of households this town now has!
