Your Sims are so gorgeous, I love the skintones you use and the clothing you put your Sims in. They all suit their makeovers and your pictures are just fabulous!
No, I do not use a lighting mod. I play my game on the highest settings and with shadows off, which helps to make it brighter. Then I up the brightness a tad bit in photoshop when editing the pictures.
Ah, no shadows at all. That explains a bit - I think I have mine either set to 'low' or 'medium'.
But that is the original lighting? Wonderful! I love my lighting mod, you see, but it can be a bit intense. After seeing your wonderful pictures, I am considering 'returning to factory settings'.
Well, I love your pictures as they are. They are unique and beautiful. But of course, it's how you want your game to look that makes you happy. So try it out and see if you like it just as much or more! I love the way I have mine set up now, although I have most definitely changed my gameplay "look" many times to find the perfect look for me. Good luck!
Well, it is A LOT of hassle to swap up my lighting mod. But I'm having a lame issue with painting shadows that I can't seem to shift. I wondered if it had something to do with the lighting mod, but now I'm wondering if it's the shadow settings. Urgh. I hate stuff.
Have you tried this fix for paintings that darken when you shift them down a wall? It fixes it so that they don't do that anymore. It is priceless in my game! I'm thinking that's the problem you are talking about. If so, it's not your lighting mod. It's a game problem.
That is exactly it! You absolute gem! Only problem is (and I hate MediaFire so much for this) I can't download the BaseGame Paintings file because my browser keeps saying 'unable to find page' or something :'( Cry cry cry
Glad that fixed it! And that's odd about the BaseGame Paintings link not working for you. I just tried it and it was fine...maybe clear your internet browser cache and try again?
Nope. I cleared the cache but that didn't do it. The message is "Unable to access network" and then it says my firewall may be blocking the browser, so I tried turning it off but that did nothing. THEN I tried it in a different browser and that didn't work either - same issue D':
