Bakersfield: Start of Round 1
So I thought I would post pictures of the town as I progress through this challenge to show how the town grows with each round of play. So here is our sleepy little town of Bakersfield on the very first day of Round 1. The families haven't even built their homes yet!
Bakersfield is actually much larger than what is shown here, but this is the only part that is developed so far, so only one picture this time! The families' homes will be built along the outer edge of the street, and some community lots fill the inner square. There's a creek for fishing, swimming, cookouts and weddings. A park for kids and sports fanatics. And a community garden for nature lovers.
The empty area in the middle is going to be a pet park, but I haven't gotten around to building it yet! I'll give tours of these lots next and will probably put them up for download if I can figure out how to do that! Thanks for reading.
