Doing a con reading
Ok, I'm in a quandry... to sign up to do a reading at Norwescon, or not? Can someone who's been there, done that give me the lowdown on readings -- is there a certain type of story to read, or to avoid reading? How much can you read in--I can't remember if it's 30 minutes, or just a portion of that, maybe 10 minutes? What are pros and cons of doing a reading if you're an unpublished nobody? :)
Of course, being a nobody my reading will undoubtedly be scheduled at 4pm Sunday and be attended only by people who already know me... but nonetheless, the opportunity exists.
