Dirty things in Lord of the Rings

WOW. I haven't updated in a while. Ah well. I've been trying to get rid of the blasted plot bunnies that are invading my office, I've been trying to bring my GPA up so I can be a foreign exchange student, and I've been reading jolly good stuff.

First, over the weekend I blew about thirty bucks on new books. Huzzah! I picked up "The Thousand Orcs" and "The Mistress of the the Night", which are both Forgotten Realms books. Then I got "The Players of Gilean" just for the hell of it and also "Pandora" by Anne Rice, because I've read "Interview With A Vampire" and I'm almost done with "The Vampire Lestat", which is quite good. I wanted the set of Merlin Chronicles, but alas, I don't have forty dollars left. I also wanted "Ashes and Amber", Weis's new book, but it's still in hardback. Plus, it's got Mina in it anyway---that useless New Age character. Blah.

After that, my Japanese teacher offered me a brochure to go to a Japanese school for a semester. My parents agreed, so now I'm working my poor bum off to bring my grades up so I can go. I'm supposed to be going for September-January next year, which will be my junior year.

Ah...oh yes! I've also been working on "The Curse of Humanity" lately, and I've been trying to get the plot rolling on "SilentWinter", now entering its second year! I suddenly feel the urge to write the death of my main character too, because my muse is mad at me. I'm sorry we didn't have any egg nog left.
