I have had an utterly fantastic couple of weeks--interesting work, new friends, old friends, first time at a rugby match, introductions to new anime--but today was the best news: I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED AT INTERAC AS AN ALT, and barring unforeseen circumstances, I WILL BE MOVING TO JAPAN IN AUGUST!

まだわからない、 and I probably won't find out for several months. My top two choices were Yokohama and Kamakura, so ideally one of those. You should come visit! We can explore everything from ancient temples to bizarre vending machines and karaoke rooms!
