Busy busy busy
Gargh. I haven't even begun the draft and cost analysis that I was supposed to send to my group yesterday. I refuse to feel bad about it as they have not sent anything out either. I'll have to get around to it tonight, as I have class in 20 minutes and a orthodontist appt at 3. Which reminds me, I have to check the LIRR schedule as I won't be taking my usual train home. Bah. Won't be home til 5 at the earliest.
I have to STUDY STUDY STUDY for my final next week, and that includes doing massive amounts of outlines that I should've had done already but of course, I haven't even read the bloody chapters. So that is what this Saturday will be. And then I must do ALL THE OTHER STUFF.
I had a site visit this morning (as in a construction site visit) and it was quite awesome. I did not particularly like being in the hoist and going up to the 35th floor, but once we got there and I got off, I felt much better. And the view was excellent. I could see all the way to the southern tip of Manhattan and beyond completely unobstructed except for the damn building next door which is also being constructed and is, unfortunately, taller than us right now. But just you wait. When we're done, we'll be the second tallest building in NYC until 2009 when the Freedom Tower is scheduled for completion. Then we shall be third. But at least we'll be taller than YOU, Mr. Building-across-the-street-obstructing-my-vision-of-Manhattan! Bwahaha!
Pack and class time. I wonder how my orthodontist will take the fact that I won't be able to have a check up for 3 months.
