Busy Doing Nothing
OK, I confess, this cold has really got me down. I haven't been much in a writing mood, other than keeping up with comments. Here's all the excitement that's been going on since, oh, what, Sunday?
Sunday night, I made a vegan thai dinner for thelouddoctor. He kind of picked at it and didn't say much. I asked what was wrong and he said he didn't feel very well. I thought he was going to make some joke about me trying to poison him-- but, no, he really didn't feel well. He went to bed early. I stayed up and watched some wacky thing called American Idol. I mean, geez! I'm sure the TARDIS has slipped a gasket or something, because I really can't see how it will be a high-rated tv show one day.
Monday, the Doctor had a full-blown cold, but that didn't stop him from materialising long enough to get a cat. He and the cat disappeared into the bowels of the ship and that's the last I saw of them that day. Meanwhile, I started exhibiting cold symptoms, so I curled up in one of the libraries and worked my way through The Reformed Rake and The Passionate Miss Palmer.
Tuesday, my cold was out in full force. So was the Doctor's. We spent the day in bed... watching cartoons. (AND NOTHING ELSE!) Oh, and playing with the cat. It was an ok time, although I don't understand what he sees in Tweety.... (He said something similar about my worshiping Pepe LePew, so we're even!)
Yesterday, still slightly out of it with the cold. More reading, more tv watching, started rolling the yarn I found earlier into a ball for Kitkat (NOT Fitz) the Cat to play with. (Oh, hey, thelouddoctor? How about "Felix" for the cat's name?)
Had problems sleeping, woke up early today, found out that the party in thebeigeone's TARDIS was still going on, so came over. The scene in the console room is just plain gross! It's worse than a frat house after a party! Food and trash and body fluids everywhere, people in varying stages of undress stumbling about... and no sign of anything for me to drink.
Fortunately, though, I know where the wine cellar is! And once I get a nice bottle of Boon's Farm, I'll go see about finding trion_babe....
