Account.

I just had to think way too much about grammar and ending sentences with prepositions and where that's acceptable and stating the object earlier in the sentence.  Stupid NCLB, wanting every child to be accounted for.  It LIES.  It wants every child's EDUCATION to be accounted for. I think. My point here is that it sucks.

Also, if you ever want to check out the definition for account at dictionary.com it will make you cry.  It made me cry.  One word shouldn't have that many.  I feel it is unfair.

Ok.  I think I might've ended up with more a question than an answer the more I look at it.  So, I want to say that NCLB wants every child to be accounted for.  But I feel like ending that sentence in 'for' is a bad plan.  So I changed it to every child's EDUCATION being accounted for.  And now I feel like they're both right.  And I'm confused and conflicted and distressed.  Of course, I could just say that NCLB wants to account for every child and fix this problem, but I want to know the RIGHT answer.  So, someone should tell me.  I feel that someone on my flist ought to know.

ETA:  Ah, friends.

NinjaInTrouble: A preposistion? What is that? Hooker-talk?
