Long time no update, eh? (eh yes, i miss myself posting too) :P
SOOOOOOO addicted to my ultra long Sam post-Havens h/c story these days (and nights and mornings ;). (The muse came back after a month's respite, and now story's nearing 30 pages...)

I plan to NOT stay up till 3 am for my addiction to writing so will keep this post short ...(or try to be)
1) Does anyone know how often messengers come and go in the Shire? It says in the Prologue, "...the Messengerse were the most numerous, and much the busier of the two. By no means all Hobbits were lettered, but those who were wrote constantly to all their friends (and a selection of their relations) who lived further off than an afternoon's walk. " ~Prologue pg 10 (in my one volume movie version book.
They're numerous but would they be everywhere? Like, if i wanted to send for a healer, would there be a messenger at my doorstep to help me deliver a letter ASAP?
2) Anyone know about Hobbit fall harvesting and how that goes? Any story that explores Autumn harvest time of hobbits? =)

(after brief squee-ing convo with pokecharm the other day, decided to go to Best BUy to get it on the spot and cheaper, but still, as qinfinity pointed out, i think there are listings of the tracks posted. :D ;)

There is 'nother LotR event concert thingy happening on Sunday in which the Collegiate Chorale will perform excerpts from Wagner's "Ring" and Shore's "Lord of the Rings Symphony," a six-movement work created from the movie scores in NYC, but alas, i have work and cannot go. :( I know the Heren Istarion people will be there though... heh... (yes i'm lurking 'round the Heren Istarion boards at times...or at least have thread notifications on.
