Faramir/Eowyn comfort (which i am kinda addicted to lately)
Sometimes when the nightmares were bad, they tried to recount the beauty of the world that they loved instead of focusing on people that they have lost . Sometimes when they woke in fear or sorrow, they would remember they have each other and children to cherish . Sometimes when the flashbacks explicitly came to haunt him, she would try to make him more present, holding his hand tightly .
“We have defeated the darkness.”
They eventually learned to turn the page- the Fourth Age would bring more peace and happiness; enjoy what life has to offer through the sacrifices laid down before .
A/N- I did try to sleep at decent hour last night but this really came from left field and i typed it up on my phone and surprisingly, it is also 100 words. :)
