Quotes like these make me think of the kind of inspiration Tolkien had when he was writing that last passage of what Frodo saw when he was on the ship passing into the West. =) So beautiful. ♥
I bought "Bored of the Rings" today... ;) It's a parody of LotR by the Harvard Lampoon and had always been curious about it so got it along with 2 London books (since i'm going to London & Mediteranean cruise for two weeks in July this year. =) So in this parody, Frodo is "Frito", Bilbo is "Dildo" (lol) , Merry is "Moxie", Pippin is "Pepsi", Sam is "Spam", and Gandalf is "goodgulf".... i read the first few pages and it's kinda amusing. :P It's a serious parody... gosh it's serious "comedy". :P oh yeah, and hobbits are called "boggies" and they're quite nasty folk in this version of things. :p Has anyone read this before?
And it was my 6 year old cousin's birthday today so mi familia went over for dinner ...her two year old sister is sooooo cute--my cousins from my mom's side are so cute. :)
