How are new perfumes created?
The creation of perfumes begins from a meeting with smells, with people. The idea of perfumes is born first in the minds of their creator.
It all starts with a resume, which provides an overview of all the famous perfumes of a given direction of smells (floral, oriental ...).
Then the perfumer mentally tries to imagine and describe what the smell will be. Indeed, first of all, “Nose” uses its “head” and hundreds of smells that are stored in it. Even if we are talking about a completely new creation, they still resort to their backup ideas, like artists who first make sketches, and then begin to create a picture.
Then the perfume takes a “physical” form with traditional technological operations: weighing and mixing the constituent raw materials. However, this is only the beginning of a long search, as it is very rare that the first recipe is true and exactly matches the originally imaginary smell.
