Villainess Group Order!
The lovely Brooke has updated her website with scrummy new Winter delights, so a group order is in er...order. Descriptions of the new items are under the cut, though feel free to load up on your general catalogue favourites as well while the getting is good. I will leave this group open until Sunday, send out invoices and hopefully get our order in on Monday if everyone pays promptly. I know you're all good for it ;)
Our late Fall collection is just in time for gifting, and features a seasonally appropriate selection of sweets and spices and ices. We're not introducing any Shocking New Groundbreaking fragrances, but are experimenting with old favourites in new contexts. Delightful!
* Smashing - Tons of spices, sweet pumpkin, scads of brown sugar. We've revisited the Perfect Pumpkin in Soap, concocted an incredible Whipped!, and devised (what very well may be) the yummiest Smooch! to ever leave the Villainess formulary room. We've loaded it with brown sugar and real pumpkin pulp and slathering it on is very nearly like indulging in pie-filling. Good times, yo!
* Jai Mahal - We couldn't get nearly enough of this made for our last update. So for this go 'round we've pulled out all the stops. Soap again, Whipped! (so a hazy cloud of decadence can surround you all day), and Smooch!. I am seriously impressed by the Smooch! - a simple blend of white sugar, a smattering of spices, and a touch of coarse-ground ginger.
* Grampa Joe - Old-man candies! Buttered rum and toffee - our classic Soap (is this the 3rd release?), and a Smooch!. Loving the Smooch! - white sugar vastly improved by piles of crushed butterscotch candies. Incredible creamy texture.
* Frostbite - Jasmine and lily and apples and citrus, frozen solid. I always love this one for winter - crisp and sweet. Available in the gorgeous glacial Soap, and a lovely Whipped (very light and fresh - perfect for the workday).
* Gloop - Marshmallow fudge. This never gets old. The soap again, loaded with demulcent marshmallow root, and a fluffy marshmallow Whipped. Gloop requires no introduction, no elaboration.
This release introduces just the beginning of our fall/winter round of supremely giftable goodies. We've pulled out all the stops to create our favourite scents in a layerable product collection, and really think you'll enjoy it. I personally am delighted with each and everyone of the new Smooch!-ies and have plans to hoard a few of each. We wanted to go fully-layerable with each fall fragrance, but I thought a Frostbite Smooch! might be a little boring, didn't have any good ideas for Gloop Smooch! and hadn't heard any requests for Grampa Joe Whipped.
Surprisingly - I am completely out of news. We usually have a few odds and ends to mention, but I suppose Massive Winter Release is sufficient.
