My amazing tea-swap package, by the wonderful
camillat, that's what! :D
I got carded for a mysterious parcel a wee while ago which I was hoping to go and claim last week, but first I was horribly busy and then I got horribly sick, so I finally managed to liberate it from the clutches of the sorting office today. It was a big box with exciting Danish stamps on, and my goodness what a haul of treasure lay within! No pictures, alas, as I can't find my camera charger and don't want to delay thanking
camillat any further, but here's the lowdown on what she sent:
Inside the box I found a pretty card explaining the 6 (yes 6!) individually-wrapped-in-cream-and-gold-paper pressies I would be working my way through...
- A selection box of Pickwick Winter Teabags, featuring outhwatering Almond and Orange, Apricot and Honey, Apple and Cinnamon and Sweet Spice flavours.
- Swedish Kvallsro tea, for aiding sleep, which has passionflower, lavender, mint and other yummy things in it.
- Ribe tea, a local blend from her home town (I was SO excited about this one I've already tried some and it is pure gorgeousness in a cup. I think I may have to move to Ribe!)
- Kransekage traditional Danish almondy cake (Also already eagerly sampled and much enjoyed!)
- A mixed bag of sweeties, including the amusingly titled 'Spunk' Saltakrids. :D Apparantly Spunk is very popular in Denmark (!) and if the awesome name, packaging and the promise of salty liqorice are anything to go by, it's going to be very popular with me too!
- Various tasty looking samples from her stash.
- And one surprise bonus Item not listed in the card: a pair of perfume samples
The whole thing is just brilliant. I love to try out foreign flavours so it was amazing to get a EuroWitch (thank you
emma2403 !) and the things
camillat chose are absolutely perfect for me. In fact I'd go so far as to say they fit me to a tea (boom boom)!
