Christmas has to be my absolute favorite time of year. Not because of the food and not because of the family, but because I love giving things to the people I love. I know, I know, I shouldn't just do it at Christmastime, and I really don't, but I just seem to go the extra mile during the holidays, baking and shopping and wrapping... Ever since I had my first job, the giving has always been the best part for me.
Alas, as has happened to a lot of people I know, I've been a little battered by the rough economy, so there will be no shopping or shipping in my holiday plans this year. Well, not more than a few packages. This makes me far sadder than it probably should, but there you go. My heart, it is too big.
What is the point of such personal post on a fic journal? Well, I'll tell you. I still want to give people gifts. I don't feel right not doing so. So, I'm offering the only gift I can give: fic.
Leave a pairing and up to three one-word prompts, and I will write anywhere from 100-500 words, to be posted here at my journal, at or around Christmas. For simplicity's sake, I'm going to assume that porn is welcome with everybody, but if not, please leave the highest rating you would like to read and I will happily oblige.
Oh, and for my SPN friends, do not even bother asking for Balthazar and Gabriel. I'm sorry, but they're just not my thing. Especially if they're paired up with Sam.
