democracy!
Well I had my caucus on Monday! Yes it was chaotic and poorly organized, but I feel it was an excellent introduction to the political process for me. I caucused for John Kerry, after realizing that Howard Dean was not for me. He's now actually my last choice of Democratic Nominees. John Kerry ended up tying in our caucus, with 45 for Kerry, 45 for Kucinich, and 35 for Dean. Eat that Dean! We all know John Kerry won the Iowa caucus, and that made me and my family very happy. My mom was at the victory speech towards the back, and after Kerry was done speaking he worked his way towards the back and saw my mom. His face lit up and he kissed my mom on the cheek! My mom had been housing their campaign manager for the last week or so, so she's grown to be pretty involved with everything. I'm glad I grew up in a politically aware family.
So now I'm sick and it sucks! I woke up this morning and I could barely speak and it hurt so bad to cough, so I missed sociology. That sucks, cause they have a strict ass attendance policy and I can't make up the participation thing we did today.
My lovely girlfriend Andrea is sick too. (coincidence?)
