[A) Crowe is out for a walk today, looking exhausted as he sometimes does. Nightmares have been back after the zombie incident, so he hasn't been sleeping well. He yawns as he casually tosses papers to people's houses... but they're not going where they should be. They might be heading through your window, into the garden or right for your head ( Read more... )

[That paper is totally missing it's target, and a loud screech will probably be what informs Crowe that it was way off target. Thankfully, if he looks over, it looks like Kira will have managed to duck the paper just in time to avoid a good knock to the head]

[Crowe snaps back to reality and looks panicked.] A-Ah! Oh God I am so sorry, are you--

[Kira blinks, looking up from where she's ducked down; the paper is nestled in the general vicinity somewhere around the porch. She pauses a moment before smiling]

Crowe!

[He chuckles, and walks over, extending a hand.]

I had no idea you were back... A-Ah, sorry about that. My head is always in the clouds, I think.

[Kira shakes her head, but takes his hand to stand]

I made a phone call. Were you not home at the time? And you're usually not that distracted.

I guess not. Ah, I really am sorry, I'm just tired today is all. How are you? You didn't... D-Did you make it through all the zombie stuff alright?

It's alright. You should head home if you're not well though.

And yes. The boys in the house seem pretty level-headed so there wasn't much trouble. Plus it seems one of them has some sort of power - the zombies barely made it on the property before being destroyed.

Oh, really? That's great then. So you just get back and Mayfield throws you right into that? As you can see, things are the same here.

Welcome home, right? [She sort of laughs because it's obvious she isn't all that pleased] But, what can I do? At least the boys here seem nice, even if my new 'husband' is a bit grumpy. And we have a talking pony... Which, sadly not reacting means I've been in Mayfield too long huh?

Could be worse... Ah, a talking pony lives with us as well. Her name is Twilight Sparkle. But you're right, things like that are pretty normal here, after all.

Oh, I wonder if they know each other. The one here is Applejack.

And yes, Mayfield is rather an interesting place...

Not sure. I met another named Rainbow Dash, though, and she knew Twilight... I'll have to ask.

I try to look at it as one of the few upsides to Mayfield. I've met so many different kinds of people here I never would have back home.

You'll have to let me know if they know each other.

Yeah, I have too. Though if you'd asked me a year ago, I wouldn't have ever believed the idea of a giant talking mouse or a talking pony outside of dreams and movies.

Same. And now I don't even bat an eye, it seems.

Yeah. I don't either. I wonder if this is good or bad?
