[Crowe's a pretty observant guy, it's not hard to notice everyone acting differently. His blushing, awkward schoolmates; the strangely large amount of cars, even for Valentine's Day, parked at the hotel, the restaurants and heading to Makeout Point. Was the town up to something again - maybe something like a love potions or tainted candy again? ( Read more... )

[Even as this happens often in class, getting used to that voice was something Crowe had a hard time with.]

Ah. Yes, sir, I agree. But it's not like Mayfield to leave some people alone while everyone else... has whatever sort of Valentine's Day bug they've got.

[Most people would agree with you there.]

[Yes, this sounds rather familiar.]

AND WHO ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO GIVE THESE THINGS TO?

Um, any loved ones, really. But mostly it's for lovers, I guess.

AND EVERYONE ELSE? WHAT DO THEY DO?

Oh, if you're single? Um... you could get gifts for family members? Or, send something to someone as a secret admirer. Or confess to them! Tough, stuff like that almost sounds like it comes from romance novels or something... Valentine's Day doesn't really have a lot of rules or anything, though. mostly it's about love. And candy, I suppose.

Mm, well, a lot of people say it's made up for companies to just sell candy and greeting cards. But the sentiment is still nice, anyway.
