Thirty-eigth Note | only my railgun

[Miku is still reeling from the events that went before. It's particularly hard, being human and dying slowly of radiation poisoning, and for the last few days she's been trying to forget about it. She's been so engaged in other things, that the fact that there's probably something new waiting out on her doorstep for her has pretty much slipped her mind.

Until, of course, she finds it.

She stares at it for a moment, then grins and rips the package open.

That's the last thing she sees before everything goes black.]

[ACTION]

[Oh, hey, look. There's a singing robot out on the front yard, looking rather peaceful as she sleeps. Strangely, for those of you who are familiar with Miku, it looks as if she's grown up, if just a little bit.

When she finally opens her eyes...]

...huh? Hey! I got my Append frame!

[Nice. While it's too bad she didn't get the outfit to go along with it, she still seems rather excited over this. And why shouldn't she? She's finally got something that could enable her to sing better than before, as evidenced by the fact that while her voice still has a synthetic edge to it, there's something...different about it. A little more human-sounding, perhaps?

Later on in the day, you can find Miku all around town, wearing one of five outfits:

a.) this wedding dress as she browses through the record store
b.) this schoolgirl uniform as she takes on her first shift at the Neutron Diner (come for the breakfast, stay for the singing robot)
c.) this catgirl outfit as she zips around on her second shift
d.) this costume that makes her look like a magical girl as she strolls through the park in the afternoon
e.) and this green outfit with the stockings as she practices her dancing up at Makeout Point.

...at least she's happier than she was before, huh?]
