Gain entry into your complicated lttle emotional structure or mine? Trying to gain entry into mine but if that takes passing through yours(or anyone elses) that's what i'll do. Does it sound anal rententive? Was really just a response to having to fill out that interest form. Realized that if I want to say I am interested in anything other than The Simpsons and PBJs I'd better get cracking.

oh no, i didn't mean anything about you. i just read it and realized that when i deal with guys and the whole dating scene, those qualities would probably ideal to getting me to notice someone.
i was really being critical of myself. i probably should have clarified a little better. i was just noticing what games i play with myself and others. it gets to be quite rediculous. anyhow, i liked the list. thought provoking.

No, I'm not in Boone, I'm in Charleston,SC. But I am from Charlotte, not far from Queens College. And how did I find you? You were in a community that is involved in photos, was looking around since I don't have one yet.

No short answers here- life is an essay perfectstranger May 3 2001, 07:02:59 UTC
Sometimes I hate that question b/c it is so easy to generalize about people based on their wheres.(Where I live ,where I studied)And I try to avoid generalizations.Generally. For example, if I say I went to Country Day,boom, a concept is planted. If I say then I left there and went to W.Charlotte, the idea shifts. Then I went to Miami my senior year and dropped out. Now we have a whole new pre-conception. If I then say I got a college scholarship and ended up studying in France and at Oxford through a program at Berkeley and ended up at Chapel Hill, well, it has shifted again. And if I then turn it back around yet again by saying that I then did not graduate, but, despite that, now run a wildly successful business single-handedly,you would have other ideas about me.So, there is your mountainous answer out of your molehill of a question. Bet your sorry you asked now.Heh

Actually, your answer does not phase me whatsoever. If there is anyone in this world who wouldn't have stereotypical reactions to someone's high school history, it is me. Seeing as how I went to Providence Day, Charlotte Christian, Myers Park, and South Meck but was a major part of the Harding High social /music scene, I see no reason to label people based upon what school they went to. That seems a little shallow to me. I would like to think that I present myself in a way so I do not seem shallow enough to judge people in that way, but if I have...my apologies for the misrepresentation.

You seem anything but shallow. Keep up the interesting writing- I'll keep reading. You have a Dr. Seuss/JerkyBoys/Parker Posey humor that is very amusing. Thanks for sharing.Didn't mean to sound defensive before.

alright, thanks for the clarification.
in all honesty, i was only asking about your high school for the small-world possibility of knowing you.

Glad you like the humor

And in all honesty,I was being a smidge defensive because I have a few years on you. I find your intelligence combined with your exuberance very refreshing in a person your age. Sadly, so many people your age have nothing to say, or if they do they attempt this jaded, worldly attitude that I suppose they equate with experience. Your voice is mature yet enthusiastic. Refreshing. And cudos on your recent accolades. Your parents must be beaming, and rightfully so. Go get 'em. Dazzle the rest of the world as you have so many in here, as you have me. My hat is off.

Well, thank you very much for the esteem booster. I appreciate it, especially coming from someone who seems to be as respectable as yourself.
