Going to All Good this year really has been a life-changing experience for me. From a more trivial perspective, I am no longer afraid of fireworks or thunder (both of those were almost constant occurrences the whole time).
But less trivial are the changes I want to make in myself after living the hippie lifestyle for five days. No, I don't want to become a full-out hippie but there are parts of my life that would benefit from a more open lifestyle.
On Tuesday I ordered a
Spirit Hoop. During All Good I saw so many people hooping for hours on end during the music and the whole time I wanted to be doing that as well. Many of the websites on hooping tout it's physical benefits and if I can find something fun that will also help stretch out my back then I'm all for it.
I am also considering a change in my diet. For a long time I've thought about cutting red meat out and just going with poultry and fish, and now I think I'm determined enough to actually follow through with it. I'm also going to try to incorporate more vegetables into my diet, even though I dislike quite a few of them. I figure I can deal with tastes I don't care for by cooking vegetables with cheese and spices. On
About I found a really great guide on eating healthy and gaining weight. They talked a lot about cutting out processed red meats and things like that.
I think through my whole life I have struggled to define myself; to find some way of living that I fit in to. Maybe now I've found my way.
