{Well well, look at who's bright eyed, bushy-tailed and exceedingly dissatisfied this morning. Mary already has a cup of orange pekoe at her elbow and what looks to be a few handwritten journals on her desk. She means business.}
Good morning, all. From my examination of my personal records and this cine camera...diary...device- It seems that I had introduced myself once before, but in light of the present situation on the ship I thought it prudent to do so once more. My name is Mary Poppins.
Last night I found myself aboard, after most assuredly having been in the midst of an afternoon outing with a dear friend and my employer's two children. I see, from the..."network" (is that right?) that similar instances have occurred to others as well.
From the evidence I have gathered, and having a great deal of trust in myself, I have come to understand that I am supposed to be on this vessel- at least in some capacity.
To those aboard who have not been afflicted, for lack of a better term, is this entirely accurate? At what time might we expect to return? A respectable nanny such as myself cannot go gallivanting off at the whims of a seaman, no matter his rank, and I must return to the Banks immediately. I am sure that, in due time, I might find myself here once again but that time is not the present.
something quite atrocious,
