If only they had asked nicely

Dearest LJers. I know I've been remiss, I know I've been remote, but there's been the small matter of my writing and acting, you see.

I have had a few rehearsals for Sink the Belgrano! And I can guarantee that I will be speaking continually for at least 15 minutes of a 1 hour play. That's quite some amount of chatting (I've already learned nearly all of my lines). I also sent my wig measurements off today. I am going to look So Hilarious.

I have started to invited those kind souls amongst you that come and see me in things on the Facebook thing, do not feel obliged and please feel free to decline and unsubscribe from the event. Having a big friendly audience for this would mean a lot as it's my first lead in a few years and I guarantee I will out-Heeno my very self as this grotesque exaggeration of Thatcher.

I don't mind when you come and see it, but unusually out play ends on the Saturday matinee, so don't get caught out by there not being a Saturday night.

Tuesday 17th July 7.30pm
Weds 18th July 7.30pm
Thurs 19th July 7.30pm
Friday 20th July 7.30pm
Saturday 21st July (Matinee only)

If you are one of my often tardy/outof toen friends, it is part of a double bill and we are second up...

The details are below, box office will open soon!

In other even more hilarious news I am auditioning for Calendar Girls tomorrow. Hmmmmm.

In other other news...I think my life may be about to take a turn for the 'be careful what you wish for'. I am not used to having this sort of wish come remotely true, so I am trying to forget about it. As long as it will let me.
