Grab your loved one’s hand. And take a picture.
David Watkins, founder of A Day in Hand, announced the fifth annual same-sex hand-holding event is Jan. 30. He calls it “a revolutionary way of making the world a more livable place.”
“Crossing borders, holding hands: This is now our community’s most personal journey,” Watkins writes on his Web site, www.adayinhand.com.
He wants pictures from around the globe of couples with hands clasped. Currently, the Web site has photos of couples from more than 25 nations.
“Wherever you are in the world, go forth and hold hands,” he writes.
Watkins invites people to send in their hand-holding photos from all over the world to yourstories@adayinhand.com so they can be shared on his Web site.
