I was about like 5 paragraphs into this story when i began having the 'pls don't ever end pls don't ever end' thoughts. I clicked on 'part II' with such reluctance it nearly felt like a supernatural force clicked it for me.
What I wanna say is OMG OMG WHAT A GREAT FIC OMG OMG!!!!!!!!
The world was built so nicely. Like I could tell the story took place in the quite far past, but the language was so fun and modern-ish. Great combo with these two.
Also, Jongin's character is so...relatable? Like his witticism and his way of talking, of thinking? It all felt so natural, so him. The character was very well built, I feel, and his pov drew me right into the story aaaand forcefully kept me there.
I did have a hard time imagining Baek as a demonic little captain however :P. I can never see him as more than a pup (ok, sometimes a pup with rude abs and rude lip rings and rude hips, but all around still a pup) yet here the puppiness wasn't lost, but the toughness of him did show through. I could see him as someone endearing enough for Jongin to fall for him, but also imposing and strong enough for Jongin to admire him.
All in all, your Jongin has great taste in men :P
The thingy with the problem was absolutely adorable. the protectiveness of the crew over him and his preference was absolutely adorable. Also, a very tasteful way of addressing a matter of quite the controversy in the time of the story.

The scene of baek eating Jongin out has to be like the most glorious scene ever. It deserves a crown. U deserve a crown for writing it.
Unfortunately (no really, i was legit pouty pouty and sad sad) this fic came to an end, and well, that ending was so bloody good that I couldn't even be mad. Adorable ending. Adorablest. Omg omg.
