update: I AM BACK OMG!!!! this fic was so wonderful???? i was smiling the entire i read it and i was flailing in bed, arms flapping and squealing like a strangled cat. i loooove fake dating aus so i'm really glad you picked this prompt and it's even better than i ever could've imagined!
jongin, the poor baby. i felt his pain because i can sooo relate to like, not being ready for a new relationship even though he's over yixing.... just not the damage it caused? i /feel/ that in my bones. and then we have baekhyun who is just super bright and friendly? i love the dynamic between the two, and how baek was perfect for jongin to realise that you know what? maybe it's time for him to move on, like /really/ move on from what happened and start something new... with baekhyun. even if it did take him a while to catch on.. with everyone saying that they could see how much they loved each other and yet jongin was still like..... head buried in sand. THE SLOW DANCING AT YIXING AND JONGDAE'S WEDDING. cries ;;;; they were so perfect.
kaisoo's friendship was also a fave. like, jongin defo needed a friend to be like... listen, you're being silly. oh, and i liked how yixing was the one to make jongin realise that he's been missing baekhyun and that he needs to get his act together and basically.. go get yo man! and i'm really happy that you conveyed that jongin was well and truly over yixing and baek wasn't just a rebound, i really appreciated that? it made the relationship between jongin and baekhyun so so pure and beautiful.
squeals as i recall jongin knocking on baek's door and confessing his feelings and kissing and then ... the sexy stuff. BUT THE KISSING WAS SO SWEET AND FEELS AND ROMANTIC. yes, it was so good, all of it. SO SO SO SO GOOD. i was like dying with all the feeeels.. clutches heart.
