Originally uploaded by pollyjean. sunset is probably my favourite time of the day. i love the way the light casts the world in a beautiful rosy glow. sunset also marks the end of the daytime where things are hectic and gives you a chance to catch your breath before you slip into the mysterious dark of night.
the best sunset i've experienced so far was in san francisco. we drove across the city, chasing the sun. we made it to the legion of honour just in time to watch the sun gently dip into the pacific ocean. i think the legion of honour was actually rated as one of the top 5 places in the world to watch the sun set.
