WOOT!!!
Last night was so much fun! I officially have a group of friends.
STORY TIME!!!!
So...at 20 till six Kristi, Tanji, and I were to meet at the PGE Park MAX station to leave for the way, well, Tanji is running late...he rounds the corner just in time for Kristi and I to have gotten on the MAX and the doors shut in his face right as he was getting ready to step on. He had the look on his face like in a romance movie when the guy shows up at the train station because he made the wrong choice about his girl and he realizes he really does love her but right as he gets there the train takes off. It was so cute. But the doors opened for him and we were off!
Well...we get to the Millikan Way stop and we're waiting for our bus. Our bus shows up we get on and we're headed towards THE WAY! Only halfaways there I realize, I don't recognize any of this! I tell Tanji and he asks the bus driver and it turns out us, and 2 other girls had gotten on the wrong bus because he forgot to change his flashy thing that tells where he is going. He tells us to get off and wait at this stop across the Highway for the other bus to come back. Well, we had just missed the bus, so we waited 25 minutes for the new one to come. The new one was THE EXACT SAME ONE we had just gotten off of. It was horrible. So we get back on and now we really are headed the direction we need to be going. We get to the stop, 45 minutes late, and John Mark is already in his sermon. We get in and Brianna and Deidre had saved us seats, so we sneak into them and join in everything.
The rest of THE WAY finishes up and the girls ate the food they grilled out while Tanji and I went back a ways and decided to pray. It was really nice. Well, we went to Coldstone Creamery (which now holds negative connotations) and got our ice cream. Brianna and I shared a like it of cheesecake with brownie and graham cracker pie crust. It was tasty. Well, we're sitting outside taking in the wonderful night when this 38 or the like year old man drives up in his 70's camero that he lowered and put a "pimp" bass system in and guess what he does!!! HE COMBS HIS HAIR LIKE JOHN TRAVOLTA IN GREASE!!!! And this was not just any hair...it was a mullet. It was a riot. And he knew that the 5 of us were laughing our butts off at him, but he bought his ice cream and decided to come back out and eat in his car. Well, as he's coming back out, Brianna looks to us and is like..."HE'S COMING BACK!!!" and she was trying to be quiet, but it just didn't work. So we're laughing our little tushies off for a few minutes. At this point I have to pee...so I stand up to go use the restroom, when my skirt gets stuck to the chair and practically come all the way off! So we're laughing for another 5 minutes as that. I worked it out, peed, came back, and we waited a little then headed out for Brianna and Deidre's house.
We did that whole thing...I was introduced to the world of Conan O'Brien. Then we came home. Kristi and Tanji came up to my apartment for a while, left around 1:30 and then it was bed time for me.
Anyways, moral of the story is!!!! I HAVE FRIENDS!!! Isn't it great? Seriously!
