FINALLY had some real deal Japanese sushi at this place down in the Jusco down the street, and it was really damn scrumptious! Although, I can't say it was necessarily better than what I've had it in the states. It was definitely different though...they play it kind of safe at a lot of sushi places I've been to, but here you can get all the squid tentacles you can eat! In Japan, they don't really have a wide variety of maki (rolls) and instead focus pretty much on nigiri. I think I'm eating a shrimp tempura in the pic...hell if I know! To my surprise they actually had hamburger sushi. I shit you not. And I didn't think the combination of hamburger, rice, and ketchup would be good but I was wrong! Now if I could get my damn hands on some Chinese fried rice my life would really be complete.
