So...how 'bout that swine flu?

You can't throw a rock without hitting someone who's worried about getting the damn thing. Trust me, I threw some rocks on a whim yesterday and hurt quite a few people.

I was thinking maybe, just maybe, I should get one of those sick mask type things like everyone else seems to be rocking these days. Only I'd have the really cool one...mine would look like a pigs snout. Yeeaaah boyeeeee. What you know about that? It would be protecting me from all the flu infected fuckers out there (and them from me) while also being mega subversive. Don't be mad because I thought of it first.

They say that Japan is like the fourth most infected country in the world now, but that's really not saying much. There's something like 115 million people in this country and about 300 or so people have swine flu. What the hell. Is it that serious? And nobody over here has died from it either. Not surprisingly it seems to be spreading like wildfire among high school students. Gee, I wonder why? Couldn't be because they never ever wash their damn hands. Especially boys. Everyone knows that boys most of the time don't wash their hands after they take a leak or something. And then they put their dirty pee pee swine flu hands on everything.

However, I'd be perfectly fine with swine flu coming to Okinawa. Let's be real here...the schools in Osaka and Hyogo up north in Kyushu are shut the fuck down. As a teacher that is perfectly ok with my ass. Think about it. Japanese kids are in school damn near all year long, which means Japanese teachers are in school damn near all year long. How's a person supposed to get a break or take a relaxing summer vacation if they have to teach brats every hour of their lives? I love my students (most of them), but I'm sure they'd love to not have to go to school for a change and same goes for me. Maybe they wouldn't be so damn ill behaved if they actually had a chance to have fun in their lives. Just a thought.
