味の爆発 (Flavor Explosion)

I'm pretty sure I've eaten more ramen these past couple of weeks than I have my entire four plus years in Okinawa.

The other night I went out with Naho and Yama to a ramen restaurant down the street from our office on the Naha/Urasoe border. Wish I remembered what it was called...Anyway, there was this amazing, spicy as shit...shit...on the table that we could eat before the ramen came out. Totally ate a ton of it. It was, in a word, dabomb. My stomach definitely hated me for eating so much of it (as did my ass later), but my tastebuds really appreciated it. Kind of wish I had a never ending supply of the stuff now.

The ramen itself was pretty good, although not as good as the last ramen place I went to. That place was awesome, though, because it allowed me to customize damn near every aspect of my ramen. This place, however, only let me change the hardness of the noodles. Despite that, I'd gladly point anyone in the direction of this restaurant if they were in Naha or Urasoe with an intense craving for ramen and butt exploding spicy food.

As long as Okinawa continues to be cold and rainy (which should last another half year or so), I will continue to eat at random ass ramen places.

co-workers, naha, furijima, ramen, restaurants, urasoe, friends
