Hidden (and I mean really hidden) away in the forests of Nakijin is Beach Rock Village, a place featuring plenty of rocks, trees, and village like tent encampments but...no beach.
It does, however, have tree houses overlooking a huge ravine. They're not just for show, either. The awesome thing about this place is you can actually sleep in them, reliving all those childhood fantasies you had about living in the trees and communing with nature. You know, before Super Mario, the internet, and Lady Gaga ruined our lives.
This tree house comes complete with lights and electrical outlets. So I guess you could bring your computer along and play some movies to drown out the scary ass sounds of nature when the sun goes down.
Thankfully you don' have to scrounge the forest floor to get your own food. They have a handful of restaurants that serve all kinds of food. This particular one, a big circular tent kind of in the middle of everything, was slinging up curry rice and a really fancy looking omu-taco rice. Sammy must be cooler than all of us, because they whipped up some jerk chicken just for her. I can't complain though. The curry we got was some of the best I've ever had.
