Tamagusuku, one of the four formerly independent towns that make up Nanjo City, is probably more well known for its abundance of sugar cane fields and bitchy junior high school teachers than for it's awesome restaurants. Color me shocked as a motherfucker then when I learned that hiding in this otherwise unimportant place was the most awesome gyoza restaurant ever in the history of gyoza restaurants.
Can't even begin to tell you the name of the place but there wasn't a thing that we had that wasn't magically delicious. It was all fairly inexpensive too, with a place of around 7 gyoza going for 350 yen a piece. Right after the meal I was chomping at the bit to go back again. Maybe I can convince my blog stalker and her husband to go out there again with me and MaryAnn one of these nights...hint hint nudge nudge.
