富鉱帯 (Bonanza)

Edit: Thought maybe I should expand on the original post...

Bonenkai's: an excuse for normally staid Japanese people to get hella drunk, loosen the ties and button up blouses, and get down with their bad selves while singing karaoke. I went with MaryAnn, Jacque, and Reanna to the Nanjyo City Board of Education bonenkai at some izakaya in Naha. It was grrrrr-eat. Food was banging and the drinks were plentiful. At one point they actually made me get up and give a speech...IN JAPANESE. Apparently speech giving at social gatherings is a big thing here. MaryAnn had to give a buttload herself when she first arrived. Luckily I managed to make it through ok (with MaryAnn's help) and we raised our glasses at the end and drank. Like I needed more reasons to love Okinawa...

Afterwards we hit up an karaoke bar a block from the izakaya. If pictures are worth a thousand words then videos have to be at least worth a billion. So...
