I suppose I'm running a bit late, preparing for Hogwarts. The rush is over in Diagon Alley so I was able to get my things quite quickly. I have been busy in Japan helping out my father investigate a murder mystery, and it was a good thing I was able to solve it in time for school. Wouldn't want to miss the first day of school! As a fourth year, I have OWLs this year- of course, I aim to get 'Outstanding's on all topics. E's are not acceptable. I will not let L beat me this year.
My parents bought me a new owl this year; I think I will name him Ryuk, after the legendary death god who was said to have used a special note to kill many famous and powerful wizards. Isn't it a good name? I must remember to send something from Hogsmeade to my parents' as a thanks, perhaps after our first test so I can send it along with the gift. They're bound to be pleased.
I must hurry now, and repack all my things for Hogwarts. I look forward to another year of school.
