If you could be in the Olympics (summer or winter), what event/sport would you want to do most? Why?
"The 92/apple/gamma/24 Olympics!" the Doctor gushed with ebullient flourish, throwing open the doors of the TARDIS in the grand way that put trumpets on a red carpet to shame.
(
It hadn't exactly been a question of 'why' as such, or even 'want'. )

This was hilariously random and awesome. The Doctor really can't ever go anywhere without trouble finding him, can he? Also, the paper clip and the easy diversion were such fun ideas! I was dying for most of the story. 4000 words should not go by so quickly!
I think it took me as long as it did the Doctor and Charley and C'rizz to figure out what was going on at the end. An Olympic event! Hahaha! Although I did wonder how they knew the Doctor was from Gallifrey. But the CIA reference was also too fun; I'm sure they will be thrilled. And the Doctor wants to tell Romana! How cute ♥.

Eleven consecutive times. Well, this makes it twelve now, isn't it? I honestly think he's going for some kind of record. You know, the weirdest ideas come to me for no reason. "I should have a paper clip! .... and then it should EXPLODE."
I sort of hand wave the fact that they knew about Gallifrey, but I am of the opinion that Gallifrey is somewhat well known, or was, before the Time War wiped it out. I mean, humans were among the students entering the Academy when Romana opened its doors.
And you know that the CIA will be sending the Doctor baskets of fairy cakes to celebrate.

Haha, somehow, I'm not surprised the Doctor would have that problem that many times in a row. And I love weird ideas! Especially ones that work so well.
That's probably true. Oh, and trying to picture the CIA sending the Doctor a basket of cakes? About killed me with laughter.
