Thank you for your spectacular gift of one Lucie Miller, which I received with much... enthusiasm (for extreme lack of better word) last Monday as I was heading to the rather peaceful planet of Eos. I didn't even know that you lot knew it was my birthday. May I just take this time to tell you how touched I am you care.
Although I would think I would have much preferred a nice day on a planet of permanent sunrises over the unexpected blundering of a human I can't get out of my beautiful ship, then a series of events which exhibited to me that I could neither return her home nor go anywhere without her, this gift of yours has completely changed my mind and has turned out to be wonderfully irritating, fantastically uninteresting and has created a new brilliant hatred in me of the word 'whatever'. I can't imagine the day having gone much better, it certainly was a spectacular party with Daleks, other Daleks, and plenty of people trying to kill me one way or another. It was fantastic. I would have gotten you a postcard, but you know. Daleks are rather camera shy. Exterminate and that.
You should tell me all of your birthdays so I can return this ebullient favour.
When you finally come around to relieve me of Miss Miller's amazing presence, lift the restrictions which you have put upon my ship, I invite you all to come have some tea with me in my console room, during which I can happily delineate how thankful I am and will be for this lovely boon, how I am not someone who you can shove problems which you have no brain cells to repair onto, and exactly what part of the Vortex I plan on throwing you all out, you time-wasting, half-brained, degenerate, noxious, illiterate, imbecilic nitwits of bloody Rassilon.
