wow that was a wonderful chapter. I had hoped Hermione would put up more of a fight as well but with that kind of torture...it's amazing she can go on.

Drat, the wait for Bellatrix to return was a wee bit too long, since Rodolphus had a chance to show up. I wonder what kept her.

Brutal! Rodolphus 's inferiority complex didn't do Hermione any favors. Bellatrix saves the day? Well she knocks Rodolphus out, that has to be a good sign, right?

Hermione doesn't have a wand or much energy after being on a lump of bread for 26 days. I can't see her fighting back beyond a verbal parry. Granted if she wanted to incite Rodolphus to kill her she may have made some inroads, but with her weakened state it took her a while to get that idea in her head. Since there are 30 parts; we know it can't end yet. :D

Can't wait to see what Bellatrix's next move is.

You will get your answers in the next part which I have just posted. But yes, I agree. Hermione is very weak and that tends to slow the ability to think down, no matter who you are. Thanks very much for the review. :)

Starting to care for Hermione or not, I've always been under the impression that Bellatrix has no great love of sharing! (Maybe he was jealous that a Mudblood has gotten more attention than he ever did from dear Bella? XPPPP) And yes, poor Hermione, stupid irony of being bashed so horrendously!

Good stuff with the realism, talk of malnutrition and lack of periods.
