(no subject)
i think i'm getting sick. i woke up with a stuffed up nose and a perpetual feeling of out-of-it-ness which didn't lift for all of class today. i got 8 hours of sleep and could barely stay awake in class!!!
i blame this on the stress from the parents and lots of hanging out in the cold. so i'm planning on lots of benadryl, sleep, and somehow squeezing in research and a 10 page paper. but i'm determined to not be sick for amsterdam.
copenhagen is fucking cold.
today i picked up books at the library. i checked out my own books...it was kinda neat. i'm a dork. now i'm going to read/sleep/make popcorn perhaps. popcorn is just as cheap here as at home so it's my new favorite snack.
i also think i'm getting a headache.
my mom would blame this illness on my roommate who likes to turn the heat up to max. we have a silent passive agressive war going on where we change the heat setting when the other isn't looking. but seriously, she keeps the heat on 5 and wears a hoodie and sweat pants to bed!!! i don't know how she does it. apparently i'm too used to my menopausal mom all but shutting off the heat in the winter. but annnyways, my mom claims all this heat will just make me sick. i mostly think she's just crazy.
