1989: The coming of SOLDIER
I read on the town notice board a few days ago that apparently there is supposed to be a SOLDIER General coming to Nibelihiem sometime over the next few days to talk about SOLDIER and what they do. The town is buzzing with excitement, everyone says they're going to be here tomorrow. The General's name is Genesis and he's supposed to be one of the best along with Sephiroth and another man named Angel. There's supposed to be some advisor's coming as well, but goodness knows who they are. This doesn't mean much to me personally but all the boys in town have gone completely nuts!
It's about time something happened here, it's been very quiet lately. I've actually taken up a job as a waitress at the hotel for some extra money, things have been a little tight in money ever since Mother passed. That's what Pappa says anyway. Some people say i'm a little young, but i mainly wash dishes. I'm starting to learn how to make and prepare meals and take drinks and food to people. The lady there says when i'm a bit older she'll teach me how to make adult's drinks and then she can hire me as a barmaid and she will pay me more. It''s going to be very busy tomorrow she says, on account of SOLDIER and those other people being in town. I may have to stay out late tomorrow to help her.
I wonder what they'll be like?
