So what is everyone's personal Zero/Cain ship? Why do you think they need to be together?

Because there is no evidence anywhere that Zero was anything but really mean to everyone else (heck, he was even polite in the Mystic Man's place), only allowing the Cain thing be personal.

After all, he was only in charge of the Longcoats for five minutes.

And where there's personal, there's ship.

Totally agree with you on that. Cain looked most defiantly personal.

I think I'm drawn to Zero/Cain because it's a possibility. There's this undercurrent that could be labled as a subplot to the overall story that centers around Zero and Cain...

Tin Man is EPIC. The story spans across two universes and fifteen years (or hundreds of years, depending on your outlook). The stability of the whole world rests within the main plot... And these two men get an entire subplot to themselves? All other subplot-age ties in neatly to the main plot, but the whole Zero-and-Cain thing is only... connected, you could say. I think their dynamics deserve some extra attention.

And so does Zero's crazy grin! Every time he gets near Cain he gets almost stupidly happy; even when captured he looks at him and is all *giggly* leik whoa. EXCUSE ME BUT WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!

Also: hate!sex, rape!sex, angry!sex, bondage!sex, revenge!sex, angst!sex, make-up!sex, kinky!sex... Another possibility is that the Zero/Cain pairing is really a kink meme in disguise, which gives me more than enough incentive to read.

Oh yes, there is so many possibility with the Cain/Zero pairing. So much love as well as hate. It's so Yummy. ^_~

I never saw the Cain/Zero thing as only just Connected, Maybe because I always saw the ship there, from day one. ^_~ But your right its almost "out of place." with the rest of the story. Makes you wonder.

Oh and Zero's crazy grin. *Thud* It always like a cat who finally got that mouse he's always wanted. There was always so much sex dripping off the Zero/Cain interactions.

Oh and the part in Central City, where Cain is spying on Zero, and Zero scenes him. One, Zero scenes someone was watching him ;p and Two, Cain face was not angry at all, It looked almost, longing.

I'm sorry, That when my poor little mind want "I see Slash in my future."

The pairing blindsided me, really. Very sneaky-like. But I notice how it was out of place. They have a history, a backstory that has nothing much to do with anyone else, unlike the rest of the characters. Once I saw that, I started paying more attention, and then... there it was.

*thinks of Zero!Tom and Cain!Jerry and laughs*

Oooh I'm so going to rewarch that scene now! I never noticed Cains expression... *is thinking maybe too much time was spent staring at Cain's backside instead*
