so, yesterday at work i cashed my check and put the money in my pocket blah blah blah. I took the money out of my pocket when i got home and set it on my dresser. Well, this morning when i went to move it there was def. a $100 bill missing. I know i didn't get shorted at work, so i guess it must have falen out of my pocket although i'm not quite sure how just that bill fell out and not the others.
All of this being said, it leads me to believe that i dropped it and someone just decided to keep it and not turn it in. The moral of the story is, if you find money on the ground turn it in. Most places take your name and number and if the money isn't claimed then you get to keep it. I know people are desperate, and i know that someone probably didn't even think twice about it but i hope that now they are feeling really really guilty. So, if you find some money...turn it in. You never know who's money it is, and it could be a poor college student just like myself who barely makes enough money as it is and needs that money for christmas shopping. :)
Oh yeah, and i hope the scumbag who took my money loses $100 some day and nobody turns it in. Then maybe they'll realize what it feels like. ;)
