A week ago Tuesday my grandma was moved to Hospice.

Some people live in hospice for months, but for my grandma it was just over a week.

4 months ago today was my grandpa's funeral.

I'm surprised she made it as long as she did. Something in my heart told me when my grandpa died, that she wouldn't make it until easter and i guess i was right.

She was only 63. Grandma's shouldn't be dying when they're 63. They should be in their prime as grandparents.

She should have been there to watch me walk down the aisle, and to hold her first great grandchild in her arms.

Her and my grandpa were just too young. 63 & 64. It just doesn't seem right.

So for those of you who have grandparents that are alive and in their 80's...be thankful. You don't know what you have until it's gone. I was close with my grandparents and i'm so thankful for that.

I love you grams, and i'll miss you.

It's gonna be a long weekend, and somehow i got conned into doing the eulogy. gah. I hope i'm even able to speak. Please pray for my family if you think of us :(
