Perfect_Duet Advent Calendar: Day 24 - "The Twelve Days Of Christmas"

Dec 25, 2015 00:13

(Three minutes into Christmas Day, but it still counts...)

Merry Christmas, one and all! :D

As my somewhat meagre offering, I humbly present my rendition of Swisskun's delightful Jack & Stephen's 12 days of Christmas. My apologies for the poor sound quality, but I hope it'll help spread a little Christmas cheer ( Read more... )

And a very Merry Christmas to you too! This is as hilarious as it is cheering and of course your voice is beautiful :) This will now be my default version of the 12 Days of Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too! *hugs* :D Hope you're having a lovely day with a decent helping of Navy Boys to go with the turkey and pudding.

Lovely! I watched and listened to them together because I thought it was what I was supposed to do; I loved it very much, Thanks

Merry Christmas! :D It fits. Sort of. (I tried to get them to sync, but I couldn't find a backing track to sing to at the same speed... and if I tried to sing along to the vid, I always reverted to the 'correct' version.)

A Blessed Christmas to you too, and thank you so much for your rendition. I could not have wished for more.
*hugs you much*

There can also never be enough Swisskun, so thank you for bringing their '12 Days' to our attention again. :)

I am amazed, amazed!

This was absolutely glorious - and hilariously funny!!

The "two Scrubs" were a brilliant idea and I loved the "grog" and "a-scraping" (accompanied by cheese); what a fantastic imagination.

The surgeon, of course, had no place being in the forward crosstrees, but thankfully his own "true love" was able to rescue him (once, of course, he'd escaped the bees . . .)

Thank you very much for such a laugh-out-loud (and musical!) post.

Happy Christmas!

Thank you! :D The lyrics or the concept I cannot claim any credit for - if you haven't watched Swiss's other videos, then go take a look at their channel! There is so much joy to be found there, believe me. Merry Christmas to you!

Yes, I must do that - thanks for the recommendation!

Wishing the compliments of the season to you, too!

I was surprised to find this when I got on this morning, and I really enjoyed it! Such good singing, far beyond my meager abilities. Thank you so much for sharing it. And may I say how glad I am that my videos continue to bring joy even so many years later.
Take care, Swisskun

Thank you! :D I've always loved and continue to love your videos, as does everybody here at P_D (as does my brother, who doesn't like M&C or AoS, but still adores your Swiss Figures and their adventures). Merry Christmas to you, and I hope you're enjoying your holiday!
