You may not find a portrait of Jack Aubrey or Stephen Maturin, but those paintings give such a good idea about the period of time. :) I was first captured by Gabriel Bray’s Between Decks. That’s how I can easily imagine Jack’s officers and middies spending some of the time when they are not on duty.
